Tiger Woods Trolls Back with Hysterical April Fool's Masters Joke
Tiger Woods may have the best April Fool's Day prank of 2025.
Last month, Woods announced he ruptured his Achilles and would be out for the foreseeable future.
He also hard-launched his relationship with Vanessa Trump and asked for privacy, and fans trolled him mercilessly for it.
The Big Cat turned the tables on all those trolls for April Fool's Day and tricked plenty of them.
Early Tuesday morning, Woods made an announcement that quickly went viral.
"I can't believe I am saying this, but a few weeks after rupturing my left Achilles, the sleeping in a hyperbaric chamber plus the explosive lifts my doctors and trainers have me ready to play the Masters next week! Can't wait! See y'all on the course," Woods wrote.
Six minutes after the first tweet, Tiger let everyone in on his joke.
"P.S. April Fools my Achilles is still a mess :)," he wrote.
A new Tiger Woods is on social media, and he is playful.
Adding a smiley face at the end of that tweet was a chef's kiss. His first tweet reached so many people that Tiger quickly had to remind them what day it was.
While it was a good trick, many should remember that it takes time to recover from an injury like a ruptured Achilles. Tiger would not be ready to play golf just a few weeks after his surgery.
Golf fans will likely not see him until next year's Masters, maybe his tournament in the Bahamas, the Hero World Challenge. Sure Bernhard Langer ruptured his and won a golf tournament that same year, but Tiger has more difficulties to overcome.
It is his left leg, so it was not the one that he severely damaged in his 2021 wreck. However, it is still a tough injury that takes time to heal, much less to be able to play competitive golf.
It was a good joke from Tiger, though; he had many folks fooled.
