Man ‘So Tired’ of What Keeps Happening at Apartment Inspections: ‘Not Renewing’
A renter says he has reached his limit after repeated apartment inspections that he claims upend his workday, only to last less than a minute.
On Reddit, user fireflyfanboy1891 vented his frustration, explaining that an inspection scheduled for the following day would once again disrupt his routine.
“I am SO tired of this happening, it’s a big reason why I’m not renewing my lease,” he wrote, noting that the notices from management create stress that starts well before anyone enters the unit.
“For me, it always causes me to wake up hours before I normally would,” the original poster (OP) explained. Yet when inspectors arrive, he pointed out, “a person is in my apartment for literally less than a minute, looks around and goes ‘everything looks fine’ and leaves.”
Reddit users flocked to the comments to weigh in, with one writing, “I've worked in a building that did inspections and one that didn't. I would never recommend to anyone to choose a building that was inspection-free.
