The Angels took a flier on a former 25-home run hitter Thursday, agreeing to terms with Yoan Moncada a one-year, $5 million contract.
The former Boston Red Sox and Chicago White Sox star is hoping for a bounceback season in 2025, after injuries limited him to 40 at-bats in 2024.
In a nine-year major league career with Boston and Chicago, Moncada has hit 93 home runs, driven in 339 runs, and slashed .254/.331/.424.
