Everything New on Apple TV+ in May 2025

Apple TV+ continues its 'quality over quantity' mantra this month, putting out just six new titles on the streaming platform, starting May 9 with season four of Long Way Home.
Following best friends Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman, Long Way Home season four sees the duo ride through 17 European countries on (what AppleTV+ describes as) "cranky old bikes".
May 16 features a double whammy, with season one of Murderbot coming to the platform, as well as a new documentary, Deaf President Now!
Murderbot is based on Martha Wells' best-selling, Hugo and Nebula Award-winning book series of the same name and follows "a self-hacking security construct who is horrified by human emotion yet drawn to its vulnerable clients."
The series stars Alexander Skarsgård, David Dastmalchian, Tamara Podemski, Noma Dumezweni, Sabrina Wu, Tattiawna Jones, and Akshay Khanna.
If you're looking for some non-fiction, however, Deaf President Now! is the choice for you.
The documentary has journeyed through Sundance and SXSW Film Festivals and tells the stories of the Deaf students at Gallaudet University who boldly protested until the school appointed its first Deaf president, Dr. I. King Jordan.
A new film from Guy Ritchie hits the platform on May 23, Fountain of Youth, starring John Krasinski, Natalie Portman, Eiza González, Stanley Tucci, and Domhnall Gleeson.
It follows two estranged siblings who come together to seek out the titular fountain, guided by historical clues that will lead them to the mythical fountain that has the power to grant them immortality.
Another double header rounds out the month on AppleTV+, with Bono: Stories of Surrender and Lulu is a Rhinoceros both hitting the platform on May 30.
Bono: Stories of Surrender first debuts next month at the Cannes Film Festival and comes from filmmaker Andrew Dominik, the director behind the controversial 2022 film Blonde, which stars Ana de Armas as a fictionalized Marilyn Monroe.
Dominik returns to his musical roots with Bono: Stories of Surrender, a documentary featuring Bono, as he shares life stories and U2 songs in a reimagining of his one-man stage show, Stories of Surrender: An Evening of Words, Music and Some Mischief...
The film will feature never-before-seen, exclusive footage from the tour and features Bono performing many iconic U2 songs.
You can double feature that with the new animated series, Lulu is a Rhinoceros, based on the children's book of the same name by father-and-daughter duo Jason and Allison Flom.
It's an empowering pop musical which delves into the importance of kindness, acceptance, and embracing one's true self, and will be available to stream from May 30.
