Becky Lynch Takes Major Shot at Hulk Hogan Following Comparison Remarks
Becky Lynch has delivered a scathing response to online fan comparisons, labeling her "Becky Hogan. " She forcefully rejected the nickname and used harsh words for the WWE Hall of Famer himself.
The comparisons emerged following Lynch's controversial actions around WrestleMania 41, where she returned to replace a storyline-injured Bayley, won and quickly lost the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles with Lyra Valkyria, and turned heel by attacking Valkyria.
Some fans drew parallels to controversial moments in Hulk Hogan's career, suggesting Lynch had unfairly taken the spotlight and championship. Lynch addressed these memes directly on WWE's "Raw Recap" show this past Monday and expressed indignation.
"I wear the scars of what I've done on my body. I wear them with pride because of all I've given back," Lynch stated, referencing her physical sacrifices for the wrestling business. "And these people go around, they compare me to the scummiest person on Earth after everything I've done, after everything that I've done for them? I'm supposed to sit here and take it."
Lynch's strong condemnation of Hogan likely stems from his highly publicized 2015 controversy. Leaked audio transcripts revealed Hogan repeatedly using racial slurs, leading WWE to terminate his contract and remove him from the Hall of Fame.
Although Hogan issued public apologies and was reinstated by WWE three years later, the incident remains a significant stain on his legacy. Hogan himself has since referred to the scandal as a "speed bump."

In addition to rejecting the Hogan comparison, Lynch also pushed back against perceived double standards from fans telling her to step aside for younger talent. "Look at the men's division," Lynch argued.
"Who you got that's hot and young over there? No, you've got a bunch of old lads. And nobody's saying nothing. Nobody's saying, 'Move over CM Punk, move over Seth Rollins'. Nobody's saying that but they'll say it to me. So, who's the bad guy? Why am I supposed to move over?"
This fiery defense sets the stage for Lynch's upcoming challenge against Lyra Valkyria for the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship this Saturday at WWE Backlash in St. Louis, adding personal animosity to their developing rivalry.
